About Dr. Khafagy
Dr. Ayatallah Khafagy grew up in Cairo, Egypt. She obtained her medical degree from Cairo University and completed her first OB/GYN residency at Cairo University. Dr. Khafagy obtained a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed a second OB/GYN residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Following completing of her residency program, Dr. Khafagy moved to Seattle, Washington to complete a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
Dr. Khafagy’s clinical interests include minimally high invasive gynecology, menopause management, vulvar diseases and high risk obstetrics. As a resident, Dr. Khafagy won the Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology award from AAGL.
Outside of work, Dr. Khafagy enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and practicing yoga.
