About Dr. Castle

Dr. Robert L. Castle, with Fairfax OB-GYN Associates in Fair Oaks, Gainesville, and Woodbridge, Virginia, has extensive experience treating the full range of gynecological conditions, protecting the health of women and their babies during pregnancy and delivery, and working with women to help them maintain optimal health.

Dr. Castle received his Medical Degree from George Washington University and subsequently completed a four-year residency program. He is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Castle has been in private practice in the Northern Virginia area since 1980. During that time, he served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, and past president of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Medical Staff. He’s an active staff member of Inova Fair Oaks and Potomac Hospitals.

When he’s not seeing patients and delivering babies, Dr. Castle enjoys golf, skiing, and professional sports.

The Fairfax OB-GYN associates practice is attentive, caring, and professional. No fault of theirs, I had to change doctors within the practice to Dr. Castle, whom I am more than pleased with. Warm bedside manner along with his splendid character left me confident in his care. Highly recommend.

I have only ever been to the Woodbridge office for labs. I usually to to Gainesville since my needs are for menopause. But the staff and Dr. Castle were most awesome! On time, so pleasant, especially in these crazy times.
