About Dr. Wilson

Dr. Melodi L. Wilson, with Fairfax OB-GYN Associates in Fair Oaks, Gainesville, Virginia, provides expert gynecologic and obstetric care to women living in the Northern Virginia region. Patients appreciate her individualized treatment approach and concern for their prenatal care, while also benefitting from Dr. Wilson’s focus on preventing chronic health problems through well woman exams.

Dr. Wilson received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She began residency training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She joined the team at Fairfax OB-GYN Associates in July 2005 and holds active privileges at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Wilson enjoys reading, gardening, and travel.

Dr. Khafagy was awesome. Enjoyed her demeanor, explanations and way of being. She is very understanding and answer any questions you have. She takes her time with the patients and doesn’t rush along. Great doctor.

I absolutely love Dr. Wilson!!! She is very knowledgeable and makes me feel so comfortable every time I see her. She explained everything she was doing and talked to me throughout my procedure to help me remain calm and make the experience better.
